Montrice services provide hands-on, emotional, educational, and physical support. Our certified montrice can check vital signs, monitor the baby, and track labor progress. With over 10 years of experience, our montrice at Prattville Midwifery supports low-risk clients planning to birth with Midwife Kim Taylor at Jackson Hospital, Montgomery, Alabama.

What’s included:

  • 24/7 on-call support starting at 38 weeks

  • Regular communication during pregnancy

  • One home visit at 37 weeks for labor preparation

  • Continuous support during active labor with monitoring

  • Guidance on when to go to the hospital

  • One postpartum visit for adjustment, feeding support, and birth review

  • Access to community resources

  • Discount on childbirth classes

Requirements:

  • Medical clearance from your provider

  • Completion of an in-person childbirth class

  • Clear communication of your preferences with your care team

  • Full payment by 36 weeks (payment options available)

Montrice services are for healthy, low-risk pregnancies, with established OB care and planned hospital birth.

Montrice support is NOT for home births.
