Dear Community,

In this wildly busy season of growth, I have been encouraged to share my heart, my passion, and my calling.

My heart is holding space for women and their family units .

My passion is my rural communities.

My calling is to be the hands and feet of generational community healing

For nearly a decade, Ive served rural Alabama communities as a birth doula and childbirth educator. I have witnessed the damage caused by the lack of consistent local resources. I have been present when the lack resources left 12 rural individuals having unplanned-unassisted: car, home, side interstate, and parking lot births.

For my rural communities, this cannot continue. These births were my catalyst. As some of you are aware, I began my studies/didactic work with the National College of Midwifery and have been blessed with a willing preceptor, a treasured Alabama midwife.

I have accepted the calling placed on me. I will serve my rural communities in a higher capacity.

I am humbled and grateful to officially announce. I am have been working towards obtaining my CPM (Certified Professional Midwifery),in the state of Alabama.
